Project Description

Dance Across America is an ongoing performance art project exploring dance in public space as an act of joy, visibility, rebellion, protest, and celebration. Through spontaneous performances across cities, landscapes, and everyday places, I use movement to take up space, connect with the world around me, and spread a little joy wherever I go.

About This Stop

Chicago was one of the earliest stops in what would become Dance Across America. These performances were filmed during my first visit to the city in December 2023, turning sightseeing, exploration, and play into opportunities for spontaneous public performance.
