1 Second Everyday, Fall 2018

1 Second Everyday (sometimes 2) recorded from August 27th to November 29th. This was the first assignment in my Video for Photographers class. I've done 1 Second a Day projects before and always enjoy them. This is the longest 1 Second Everyday project I've completed and it's a great reminder of everything I managed to cram into the Fall semester in 2018. Assignment: Use the 1 Second Everyday app to record a moment from each day during the semester. Class: Video for Photographers Instructor: Doug Clark Tools: iPhone, 1 Second Everyday (app)

This instructional video was a lot of fun to make, but also super tedious since I was filming myself with a little help from my husband Karl who helped stop and start the cameras. I used a two-camera setup to record the footage and used the Voice Recorder Pro app on my iPhone to record the audio. It was a challenge to sync everything up in Premiere Pro but I figured it out. Overall I'm really happy with how this video came out minus one or two audio issues. I definitely have a newfound respect for [...]

Summer Haiku Video

This summer-themed haiku video turned out well. It took a lot of shots to get the lens-pull and camera panning just right. I'm still very intimidated by video but I'm learning and am excited to tackle more video projects. Ah! Summer grasses! All that remains Of the warrior’s dreams - Matsuo Bassho Assignment: Create a video inspired by a summer-themed haiku. No sound.
